iCOOP KOREA – Part 1
iCOOP KOREA, with 75 cooperatives and more than 190,000 members in 2013, is a cooperative alliance that is managed by both producers and consumers, advocating ethical consumption. It cooperates with 3,000 producers and owns farms, food processing factories, logistics center and food testing center.
Different from the retail and production process of the mainstream market, iCOOP emphasizes on respect for people and labor; human-oriented business, not the capital-oriented; food safety; production and consumption of safe food made without toxins; and protection of agriculture and the environment.
